Best Drive for CD ripping

Whats the best DVD/CD-ROM drive for ripping audio CD's. I'm also a member of another couple of forums called "CDR-Info" and "CDR-Labs", and have heard mixed opinion on different drives. I heard that the best drives for ripping were Liteon, Asus and Plextor, but overall Liteon came out on tops for audio cd ripping due to its fast ripping speed. Then some said that Asus drives were the best for ripping. Also is it true that Asus optical drives are very quiet.

Plextor, Plextor, & Plextor somemore!

I recommend a Lite-On because they're cheap and fast but not quiet.
BTW...Lite-On drives can defeat most CD protection and you can use KProbe to check for errors on CD-R.

whatver drive you get just make sure it can do audio caching and can do an accurate stream

also for ripping id recommend exact audio copy:

Actually it would be preferable if the drive did not cache audio- caching just makes it harder to confirm proper reading. EAC is my choice for CD-ripping too. :D

the folks at http://www.ubernet.org/ recommend the Plextor PlexWriter Premium http://www.plextor.com/english/products/Premium.html
now these guys take music ripping so seriously I doubt they may be wrong.
