:D Just got my order from Monsterinkjets.com for BCI-6x ink tanks. I have run 20 pages of text and then art and pictures. Compaired them to orginal test on true canon tanks. Very slight difference but only seeable if you nit pick and know what to look for. Have been very happy. There prices AND free shipping [ground] <over 10$ order> is the best I found. Ground took 10 busness days [US Snail Mail].

Printer Canon s820 - tank BCI-6x
BCI-6x canon tank = about 12$ + s/h :o

BCI-6x generic tank=1.45$ each no s/h <over 10$ground ship order>:)

they seem to deal right now in epsom , canon, apple, xerox TANK ink.

Edit: corrected the addy.

Wow. $1.45!
If they work as well as you say they do, it might be worth a shot.

I have an i950 that uses the BCI-6 series cartridges.
I still have an extra set of 6 (the printer uses 6 separate inks, so I have ONE extra set, not six) original Canon ink carts right now.

found you have to search for the s820D or for bci-6 to find them on site.

Veff,

If you are interested in "Genuine" Canon inks, I get mine from inkcarts@terragon.com. Dusty sells them about 50% of big box price. Come in two days.

Thanks Slim!
I'll keep Dusty in mind.

I have tons of extras for my S300; I bought knockoff cartridges to use for printing all sorts of stuff other than photos.

For my i950, I still have an extra set of Canon cartridges:
I use it for photo printing.

Hey, thanks back, Veff

I think that I'll do that too. They sell generics at the Computer Fair, which passes thru here every 4 - 6 weeks, for about $2 each. I'll get some for the day to day trash printing, like rebate forms and copies thereof, and use the Canon for photos.

No problem.

The quality of the generics I bought (about $3 each) was not bad; I mean I could tell the difference of course, but for printing web orders / receipts and things like carsdirect car price quotes and printouts to use for Price Matches, the quality is more than adequate.

Besides, the i950 blows the S300 away when it comes to photo prints anyway.

Quick question: When I try www.monsterinkjet.com I get some stupid gardening/plant seed site. Is that the correct URL?

Well Used up the first order. Pictures are comming out good.

pros of these BPI-6x tanks are cheap!!
Colors work and are very close to the orginal
the clips that seal them are reuseable if you want to refill them yourself.

cons
dont last as long<actually not overfilled sponges like the orginal cannons>
dont work as well on 'cheap' not pure white paper < less then 90 brite>

seems cost for me went from 1.45$ a cart to 1.69$ a cart. They also now need 15$ US for free shipping in USA.
