Voice recognition

I'm not sure if it is better to ask here or in the hardware forum...

I will likely need shoulder surgery limiting my ability to use a keyboard. Has anyone used or know if voice recognition software is developed well enough to be worth the effort? If it is, what programs and hardware would you recommend for the setup?

I don't get here often, but if you are still looking for info on Voice Recognition software, check out item number one in the following newletter.

Fred Langa is a great source of information.

Thanks, Algrinch.

That's a nice site, I can see why you like it..

I'll explore the Naturally Speaking line and give one of their programs a try. The review that I read from Langa's site leans towards it and I now remember that I may have a copy around here from a dictation recorder package that was purchased about a year ago.

I'll let you know how it works out in a couple of weeks.

Thanks again,
bill
