100 Fuji TY CD-R @ Kmart $8

Postby airtommy on Thu Sep 28, 2006 11:59 pm

Furballi on FW is reporting that K-Mart has Made in Japan Fuji TY 50-pack CD-R for $8, and then the 2nd 50-pack is FREE. So 100 for $8.

The ad says $14.99 Buy 1 Get 1 Free, so this might be a price mistake by K-Mart.

Too bad there aren't any Kmarts around here anymore.

airtommy, you are a gentleman and a scholar! I just visited my local K-Mart and cleaned out their supply of these discs; all Made in Japan!

Truth be told, I just cleaned out three K-Marts in the area, but I didn't want those people who have zero K-Marts near them to be jealous. :)

Why do you have to clean out and ruined the chance of others to have some also do you really have use for the all ones you clean out?

He's a re-seller, he has a business to run on ebay. I would have done the same thing (actually, I've done similar things in the past). It's called cornering the market

yeah, well, blame the store (K-Mart) for not limiting somthing like 6 per customer.

Wizard,did you really get them @ $8 a pair, not $14.99 ?

Some of these discs will be resold and some will be used.

As for ruining the chances for others, well, you snooze, you lose! Honestly though, I am very confident that there are plenty of these discs to go around. I cleaned out 3 K-Marts out of how many stores? Thousands. It's not like I cleaned out every single K-Mart on the face of the earth. Hmm...nah...don't get me started! :P

Furthermore, this sale has been going on since Sunday, September 24! That means there were 5 days for people to grab these discs before I moved in! I jumped on the bandwagon late...think of me as the cleaner-upper. :)

Oh, and yes, I got these Fujis for $8/pair. Regularly, the discs are $14.99 for one spindle of 50, but this week K-Mart has a special, $7.99 for 50. In addition, K-Mart is selling these as buy one get one free until October 30th. Think of it as a stacked deal for this week only. Come next week, you can still buy one get one free, but at the regular price of $14.99.

Thanks for the heads up. Just got some of these from my local KMart.
Marked $7.99, but ring up at register also as buy one get one free.
Unfortunately, most of the stock was sourced from Malaysia, but I still
scored some MIJ. So even this late in the week its worth checking your local store.
