You can't burn 4x DVD-R media @ 8x, but you can burn 4x DVD+R @6x & 8x. I'm starting to like 6x, looks better than 8x (though 8x still isn't too bad) and looks the same as 4x.
I buy/bought (won't be buying from them again) my Ritek discs from Meritline. Have I had any bad batches, no, but with Ritek, it seems to always be bad discs mixed in with the good ones.
