How's this for quality?

That's a 99 minute audio disc, burned @ 8x.

I bought it over at http://www.yesbuy.net/9099mincdrsi.html in California.

I got the spindle of 100, Ritek 99 minute discs.

Here's the ATIP:
This Disc is designed for CD-RW/COMBO Drive Only.
Disc Type, Material = CD-R, Phthalocyanine
ATIP Lead-in = 96m 43s 37f
Norminal Capacity = 702.83MB (79m 59s 74f)
Disc Manufacturer maybe = RiTEK (90min)
SMART-BURN Speed Limit = 48X

They are indeed a 99 minute disc, not 90 minute as indicated by Smart Burn.

They should. I've done it before. I'll probably do it again.

Take a look at the results: http://www3.sympatico.ca/brad.ormsby/

a 100+ minute audio cd.

I still have to correct the webapge ( if I can remember how). That disc was/is perfect. It did track right out to the edge. I didn't think it did when I wrote that page.

I still listen to it in the van while commuting to work.

They simply do not exist.

99 Minute discs are not technically 'overburned'. You have to enable overburning in Nero to get the full space on the disc. Otherwise, Nero see's them as 700mb. The full capacity is really 99 minutes.

Cd-r's come as: 74min, 80min, 90min & 99 min. (90 & 99min discs are a special item).

Why did you call this thread "any good quality 90 or 99 minute media?" if that's not what you were looking for?

I suggest you read a few articles out there about these discs.
