Best Buy Cd-Rw drives ????

Best Buy is advertising :
Digital Research 48-12-48 drive for $30 after rebates.
Says it has a EIDE/IMAPI connection ????
Will this fit my HP Pavilion 6553 ????
They also have a NORCENT Tech 40-12-48 for $49
I know very little about either ?
The IMAPI confused me as I usually see ATAPI ???
ALSO where can I find they speed of my 6553 with Celeron?
The drives sometimes say required speeds vs recommended ????

This drive will fit into your HP computer. Just make sure your have more than 128MB SDRAM so the drive performs up to speed. All you need to be worried about is the required system specs. That's the lowest specs your computer needs to have before the CD-RW drive will function properly. Don't worry about the recommend system specs, as they don't show any real increased performance in CD-RW drives.
