Thanks, missed that this morning in my paper scanning. My Panny dvd recorder uses minus and those might do 12 or 16 in my 3500

At least when I looked at BBY a while ago, most of them are the TY's (Made in Japan) but some are Made in Taiwan (Prodisc?)

I've seen the opposite, most are Taiwan but some are Japan... (TYG02). Either way, it's a great price for the Japanese discs.. $5 rebate isn't that big of a deal, at least it's not $25 MIR!

At my local BB, the 4X Fujis are made in Taiwan, but the 8X are Made in Japan. Take a few seconds to read the packaging before buying.

Hrm, we must be getting everything in differently in LA, as all the DVD-R was 8X, either from Japan or Taiwan...
