Is it cold enough for you?

It's 04:45am as I type this. I'm on nights again.

It's -19 Celsius (-2 Fahrenheit) outside and a good 2' of snow on the ground.

What's it like where you are?

At least you have snow there. Last night was the first time this year that it dipped below 0.. unfortunately we haven't gotten squat for snow this year.

Mid-30's, about 6" of snow on the ground. I HATE SNOW. Really, really HATE it. My stupid roommate loves the stuff, though.

bhairavp, it's pretty mean to rub it in like that ! :)

Over the last two weeks in the LA area, the weather has been 70 to 85 degrees Fahrenheit (21 to 29 Celsius) during the day. I was really surprised to see it get that warm in January.

I Love It Here 8) :D

0 F and at least -10 F with the wind chill. 18" base of snow sounds about right, although it snows practically everyday here so I can't keep up with the measurements.

Heheh, sorry Glock! Year round, the weather is the same here in Bombay, only rains like crazy during the monsoon (June-September). The lowest temperature we get is about 15-18 degrees C which is a pleasant summer day for you guys, but FREEZING COLD for us tropical people!

How could the temperature go from 60 degress down to the teens overnight? Especially in Florida! Unless there is a hurricane blowing frigid winds from Antarctica!

Having returned from Lakeland Florida I know the answer: They'll blame a "Canadian cold front is moving in". 8)

My parents in Lakeland said it was actually going into the 20's (F) overnight! I'd be upset if I went to Florida for a once in a lifetime trip to Disney etc. and got temps in the 20's overnight!

I don't doubt the possibility of the teens either. I heard that it's 10C in Cuba. That's probably a record! (sorry to the Americans here, but Cuba is still a valid vacation destination for us).

So if you want a warm vacation: Aruba!

Maybe you're getting some lake effect snow, but we have squat out here. We got a few flurries the last few days, but nothing like we're supposed to be getting this time of year.

Well, we just got another foot of snow in the past 24 hours and its still -10C

All of you American snowboarders should come to Southern Ontario ( http://www.bluemountain.ca ). Where your US $ is worth about $1.58 Canadian, and you can still get a Miller or Stroh's at the watering hole.

If you are interested, here's the weather forcast: http://weatheroffice.ec.gc.ca/scripts/c ... e&city=WCO

Miller or Stroh's? I'd rather have one of your Canuck beers.

Molson Canadian & Labatt Blue (both Lagers) are nothing to write home about.

But there are a few gems down here. Creemore Springs comes to mind.

If I remember right, you guys have a few small breweries that are really good. I wish I could get some of that beer in the states.

It's cold enough. Now it's only +2 C, usually it's between -20 and 0C at winter.

Holy smack! Some of you have some cold weather! When I flew into Minnesota, it was something like 2 below. When I got to Hawaii for my vacation, it was like 80. I want to move to Hawaii!

Ah, damn. Well, even though it's after the fact, congrats to you and your wife! :D

Maui is pretty awesome. I pointed my boss and his wife in that direction...they absolutely loved it. They were a bit too amazed at Kalapana and the black sand.

Where didja stay?

O'ahu is cool if you venture out. There are awesome mountain biking trails...if you know someone. All you need are bottles of water...maybe a few of those crappy Power Bars. This one trail we went on ended up at a hidden area that had papaya trees, tangerines, avocado trees, mountain apples and bananas. AMAZING!!!!!

February blah time.

overnight it was -14C and snowing hard. Got around 14inches. Drifts are 3' deep in my driveway. It so was windy overnight it woke me up twice.

Got to work (police dispatcher) and wound up with the highway console-utter carnage for the morning.

I'm looking forward to the 40oz bottle to rum @ home.
