could i pay $10 benq800a once to get dvd-r on 2 drives

i have two benq 800a drives and i was wondering if i decided to pay 10.00 to make one of them to burn w/ dvd-r suport , could i do the same for the other drive also free of charge by using the same serial number for both drives.

Technically, you should pay for both drives to cover the licensing fees for each, but I'm guessing you could use the same serial # for both.

The firmware upgrading program connects to a web server to check your serial number. I don't think it'll work more than once!
