Just bought 2 sticks of 512mb from here:

anyone have or know anyone that uses this memory

it got pretty good reviews on overclocking ability and low latency:

and of course the video review:

I don't think it's fair to call that low-latency memory. AVERAGE latency memory is 2.5-3-3-6. Low latency would be a CAS rating of 2 (2-3-3-6, 2-2-2-6, etc.). Anyway, I honestly think the extra $70 you'd save by buying a PC3200 512MB modual would be better spent saving for a faster videocard (The GeForce 6800 series is around 100% faster than your previous generation card... not like you probably didn't know that already). In my experience, memory being pushed faster than 200FSB just doesn't see any tangible benefit :-? At least for now anyway...

whos to say i won't get the card also?

im just waiting for the x850's and nvidia's equivelent start flooding the market, driving the 6800 ultras down in price

tax time is right around the corner

those timings of pc4000 are damn good too, 2.5-3-3 is the best timings i see in any pc4000 memory

i went with the ballistix series, because of the high overclockability with my mobo chipset
