"Data error (cyclic redundancy check)" when burnin

What did i do to get this and how can i prevent it??

E and F drive: 40gig and 80gig 7200RPM
C drive is OS, image was on drive F

Is the prob similar to buffer underrun where the data from drive F isn't getting to the burner cuz of drive C being the system drive??

Usually you will get this when you are copying either a scratched disc or one with a fingerprint or similar smudge on it. Make sure that the source disc is clean (really clean) and then try again. A little bit of warm water and dish soap do a good job with cleaning them, but find something really soft to dry them off with.

The latest round of copy protection will yield this error if you're trying to backup a DVD. As mentioned, it could be a scratched disc.
