Postby bbzidane on Fri Jul 21, 2006 6:26 am

im thinking of building a custom pc and was wondering if there exists a slim-sata dvd writer

i know there are plenty of slim-ide dvd writer, but i would prefer sata for easier cable routing

any ideas?
thanks

Yeah, I think he's talking about laptop drives. I can't say I've heard of any with an SATA interface. There might be adapters out there though.

ya, im talking about laptop dvd writers
i have found slim-ide to sata adapters but that would increase the size which i would like to minimize it as much as possible
guess i will just have to wait, hopefully its not as long as i would have to wait as long as the wait for the intial sata cd/dvd drives
