DVD Burners with Digital Audio and/or Component Video Input?

Postby WynsWrld98 on Sun Nov 24, 2002 3:31 pm

Do any PC-based DVD burners exist that have digital audio input and/or component video input? Also, any DVD burners that can burn dual layer?

There are sound cards with digital audio in and video capture devices that will do component video input, but no DVD burners for the PC that have that capability.

As far as dual layer DVD's.. the current crop of DVD writers do not have this capability.

Thanks. Regarding "video capture devices that will do component video input", do you know of manufacturers/models and/or have any recommendations? Same question for sound card with digital audio input.

you can use a tv tuner from ati (www.ati.com) to watch tv and capture video,if u need component video then u have to spend more and buy an ATI all in wonder RADEON 8500 DV around 200 us $.FOR digital audio u can buy PHILIPS SONIC EDGE 5.1 (www.pcsound.philips.com) for around 30 $ or buy a high end CREATIVE AUDIGY 2 PLATINUM (www.creaf.com) for 200$ .
