DVD Playback volume too low

Postby MonsterMan on Sun Oct 08, 2006 1:57 pm

Allright, this has bugged me for awhile now. Any dvd played back on my pc has very low volume. Even with the pc's volume maxed, it's still fairly low.

I'm using headphones, so can't just crank the speakers. Besides, having the volume maxed on the pc results in too much line noise.

Playback software is Media Player Classic. Installed (relevent) codecs: AC3 filter, FFDShow.

Any ideas for a volume boost?
BenQ 1655, BenQ 1620, LG 4167, Plex PX-716SA, Samsung SH-S162L, SH-S182M, Pioneer 111D, Lite-On SHM-165H6S and 1.9TB of HDDs to feed 'em and an X2/4800 to crunch for 'em.
