Help Driver_irql_not_less_or_equal

Help me!!! My computer keeps on poping blue screen when i copied a file from the cd to my harddisk. It says driver_irql_not_less_or_equal
But this did not happen if i install or burn a cd from the cdrom
what should i do??
should i update my firmware or driver and how??
my CDRW is liteon LTR-52327S (52X32X52)

It may not have anything to do with the CD drivers at all, especially because they're fairly standard. Have you updated the drivers for your motherboard? I bet it's an IDE driver causing the problem.

What is the name of the file the bluescreen identifies? (It should be on the second line)
