i just got the logitech z-540 speakers but i need some help hooking them up

it says that i have to connect the green plug from the audio input cable to the front jack and the black plug into the rear jack into your soundcard.

The z-540's are ment for quad channel sound cards since you didn't mention your sound card model i'll asume your sound card is.

The green plug should be pluged into the front channel audio out port.
The black plug should be plug into the rear channel audio out port.

what motherboard do you have? It might have 4-5 channel support. if not, you can get a surround sound card for about $30
