How do you rip??

I recently got a DVD rom and I popped the Spider-man dvd in. I ripped it to a folder using DVD Shrink, and now I want to watch it on my computer. How would i open it?

Just use Power DVD 5, then on the source button, select "Watch DVD from Hard Drive" and select the folder that the DVD files are in.

Same here...though I think I have PowerDVD version 4...
Soon to be proud user of Mandrake 10 (again!). SuSE 9 sucks!

Sorry, I also meant to ask how do you rip because I'm not sure if I'm doing it right or not. Anyhow, when i rip the disk, i save it somewhere, but it wont work! says wrong region or sumthin like that, not sure

i rip with dvd shrink beta 5, i get that message saying select the original region, only pops up sometimes
