I know Yamaha no longer makes these so this may be a bit of a pipe dream. However, if anyone has or knows where I could find a new, unused, retail boxed one I'd be really appreciative.

I've got one fully functional. If you want to buy it, PM me. IDE version.
Has a 3 year warranty, think there's about 14 months left in it. I haven't seen a new one for sale for quite some time. BTW Yamaha will still honor the warranty if there's a problem.

look on ebay

There are alot of them on ebay and there are even a few new ones on there. I was thinking of getting one for the disc tatoo feature. Would definately add a level of eliteness to my burned discs. Is this the only burner ever to do this?They are 100 dollars on ebay for new ones.I dont wanna spend that much for this feature.
