Just a problem/solution i had on my pc that might help..

Okay I had at the time a plextor 2410a cdrw and a pioneer a05. I installed Stomp's RecordNow Max v4.5. During installation I got click happy and it popped up an option to install DLA (packet writing part of stomp) afterwards I couldn't get anything to refresh if I have any type of media in both drives. Uninstalled DLA and everything is back to normal.
System Config:
WinXP Pro sp1
Abit VP6 Dual 1ghz with latest mobo bios
Via4in1 4.48
Liteon 52246s (latest firmware) replaced my plextor (thanx for the info on last post
Pioneer A05 (hacked 1.33 firmware)
Softwares I used to burn:
CDRWIN 5.02
FIreBurner 2.17
Nero 5.5.10.20
(seen Nero 6 Ultraedition has been released)
CloneCD 4.0.1.10
Stomp RecordNow Max v4.5 with PXengine v4.08
Disc Juggler v4.01.968

so with DLA installed and media (blank or full, pressed or copy) system hangs up. Without DLA everything works. There hope it helps someone.

Thanks for the info. That's weird that DLA cause that problem for you, but I'm glad that you were able to get it fixed!
