For the record, I have an ABIT BH-6 w/ a celeron 633 (not overclocked currently), 196MB of Crucial PC133 ram, a generic geforce2 MX card, an SMC network card, and a Diamond Monster II sound card (Aureal Vortex 2 I believe)

Hoxlund;

No I am only using Windows XP with no upgrade to SP1, also I am using Nero ASPI Library 2.0.1.50 Ahead. But I should point out since I have reformated my hard drive, re-installed the Windows XP and excanged my Lite on 48X12X48 with Lite on 52X24X52 the problem has be resolve almost %80 of the time.

BTW: I have taken data by testing benchmarking my hard drive with Sanra, the dive index has been swinging beween 31528,25077, 26050,31532,33016, and 33007. The drive is ATA 133)

I updated my ASPI (version 4.6) with a program called FORCE ASPI because the adaptec version wouldn't install without Adaptec hardware or another Adaptec ASPI driver already present. Then ran a verification program and all the ASPI information now checks out, but the CDR Drive still doesn't work. Ack...

is your hard drive defragged, sometimes if my windows hard drive is really fragged up, it doesn't burn, or the buffer drops fast
