This Drive have been know in the past to be repackaged of BenQ 1640 or 1650 or 1670.

All the drives that I've seen locally have been DQ60's lately .

Did any DW1670's ship to North America?

Hi bill; about 6-7 months ago I got mine through the same deal and was BenQ 1655 with LS , now some people claim that these drive are mostly 1670 or in some case Lite-On. The way to find out whether is BenQ by pushing the bottom of the box inside if the rapping plastic is clear that indicates BenQ inside if is pink that would be Lite-On.
