MAM-A Raises prices of Gold media

I just got the following notice:

Dear **********,

Due to the continued rise in the cost of Gold, MAM-A is forced to raise prices for all Gold discs, including DVD-R and DVD+R. Since our last price increase, the market price of Gold has gone up by 26%.

Effective for shipments made on May 1, 2006, prices will be increased by $0.05 per disc for all Gold CD-R, and DVD+/-R products.

We will keep a close eye on the cost of Gold and adjust accordingly.

I don't think it's ever a BAD time to invest in gold :wink:

Hmm I don't think that the gold prise justifies a raise of $0.05.
Or has gold become twice expensive over the last 2 years ??
