OK, so who actually makes these? Are they the same as the Verbatiums? I ask because Newegg has 'em for $13 for a 3 pack.

I've a BenQ 1620...will they do ok?

They're manufactured by either Philips or Ritek. Most likely, you'll get Ritek. I have not heard of anyone getting Memorex discs with a Verbatim MID yet.

ANd with Memorex I don't think we will see MKM.

Newegg has/had the Verbatiums for $13 or $15...can't remember which. Gotta order some...after they get the $#!@ 1640.

Comp USA is selling the Memorex 3 Pk for $9.99 in the national Ad. Take the Ad to Staples who sells them for $29.99, get it for $7.99 on the price match. Ritek D01 media code, not great reviews on dvdrhelp. I picked up two packs for just under $17 w/tax

Yes I got them myself just this afternoon 2 pack of 3 each for $7.99 per pack total $17.24 including sales tax.
