Music Match messed up my CD Drives!!! HELP!

Postby jihaes on Sun Feb 27, 2005 2:58 am

:x I'm not very happy with Musicmatch... I updated the version and then since then, it overwrote (i believe) this file MxIW2k.sys
I have two cd drives (one's a dvd player, the other's a CD-R/RW)
Both done show up on My Computer.
When I check the device management, and hardware, the CD drives have a yellow exclamation mark.
I dont know how to fix it. My computer is almost four years old, and I dont have any driver installation packages or anything.

Does anyone know how I can fix this problem or a place i can download the drivers?
Thanks

Uninstall Music Match and install ForceASPI.
If that doesn't help use System Restore or reinstall your chipset drivers(eg Via,SiS,Intel) on the CD that came with your PC/mo-bo.
