nec 3500 or 3550

DVD-R/W, DVD+R/RW, DVD-RAM

nec 3500 or 3550

Ian please i need help which one is better reader of this two. I don't care about writing but I am playing with a lot of scratch dvds, and I need something what will read that best.

Hello!

NEC are awful readers, u better get another drive like Liteon or Benq
Benq DW 1640 and 1650 , Plextor PX-755, Pioneer BDR-208 and 209D, LG GH24NSC0, LG BH16NS40 and 16NS55, Liteon ihas 124F and 324F, Pioneer DVR-215 and S21, Samsung SH-224DB and 224GB, and some more

I gotta agree with Scour. If you need an excellent reader, there are better options out there. Personally, I think Lite-On's are better than BenQ's in this capability.

I have plaxtor 740 aka benq 1640 and lite on dvd player 166s but for some dvds nec is better , i usually try all 3. But I got 3550 and i don't know which one to keep 3500 or 3550

I'd keep the 3550 then.

That was my question, becouse I was very happy about 3500, i like him better than plaxtor - i am nec fan.
Now only to make 4551 from 3550 and I will be very happy

any suggestions how to make 4551 from 3550 or some trick about it

Check cdrlab.pl. They had a whole article on how to do it.
