Need Help cant figure out what kind of CD's I have

Postby JustRob on Thu Dec 25, 2003 9:01 pm

I have tried to use CDR Identifier 1.63 like I have in the past but it wont work for some reason.

I bought some more Fuji's (Made in Japan). Trying to make sure they are still TY as I have been lucky in the past. The spindle area is opaque but I wanted to confirm that they are TY. Is there any other way to do this other than CDR identifier?

Only difference I see in these VS my other Fuji's is the serial number is circular rather than straight across in the past.

Please help. Thanks in advance.

If you have Nero Infotool you can tell that way.

I believe CDR Identifier isn't working 'cause you don't have an ASPI manager or Layer on your system.Check this link out.Find the CDR Identifier file and read.http://www.lurkhere.com/~nicefiles/

You can use Nero CD Speed. If they have the frosted hub center, and say Made In Japan, then they are TY.

Do you have CloneCD or Alcohol installed with the "hide media info" option enabled?

BTW, your best source of media info in Nero 6 is to open a compilation, hit the media info button, then hold down "cntrl-shift" and hit refresh.

Of cource they are TY anyway. you can tell by the dye color if nothing else.

I think I figured out. Not sure but it is opaque as the others were and they were TY and these were also made in Japan. It was a little easier with that cdr indentifier working but I appreciate the help.
