Nero doesnt detect Lite-On LTR-52246S burner

I just got a new 52x lite-on burner, and using Nero 5.5.7.8
Nero wont detect the burner. Im using XP and XP detects it, the drive works (opens, reads discs etc).
I have it set as master on the secondary IDE port.
I cant see why this would be happening... help please

The LTR-52246S is supported by version 5.5.9.8 and later only:

Version 5.5.7.8 predates the LTR-52246S.

This is easily remedied by downloading the latest version of Nero 5.5.10.28 (a free upgrade):
