Nero vision express - sound out of sync

I tested this out with 5 simpsons (fave ones for a test) and did a menu with parts of all 5 episodes as buttons, and when it burned, I thought it looked and started great - but virtually from the first, it started getting further and further out of sync with sound and motion being up to 3 seconds apart at the end. What did I do wrong, and how can I stop it happening again ?

Maybe we're not into NVE that much? Which version are using? The release notes show some entries for fixed sync problems in the last couple of versions.
