It might burn great. Still it's Princo.
And Princo is known for there famous crappy cyanine dye's which sometimes are that good to get a good burned disc screwed in less then a month.

Anyone know what the benefits are of upgrading to H from G?

I'm doinf some test burns now with the fakey RITEKG04's we all know and love. Unfortunately the drive didn't take my 4x burn and is chugging along at 2x so I'll have to do another and see if it finally does 4x with this stuff like my 811 all ready does. Then I can do some quality checks.

Well no Joy here. The Riteks still refuse to write any faster then 2x but the quality is OK. Maybe it will do better with the Memorex plus media that seems to always change vendors and quality level now. All I have is some Verbatim MCC002 and that seems to be pretty good so it should write at 4x, I'll have to try one of those too I guess.

I went back to 2.0G because 2.0H caused write errors on my BeAll DVD-R media.

With 2.0G, these burn wonderfully at 2x. With 2.0H, Nero errors out during the burn. Went back to 2.0G and everything is fine again.
