LG new firmware

Hello,

How long LG usually takes to release a new firmware ?
I realise that all the experts aren't happy with the 1.0 version of the GCE-8520B.

I have a 8481B flashed with 8520 Firmware 1.0. I have now the possibility to write at 52X. Anyway i'm waiting for a new release of the fimware cos it doesn't recognize some type of media for what they are (the same was even with the 8481B firmware 1.03)
Maybe they are making the new firmware.
Waiting.....
