That's ok that they didn't mention it actually.... supposedly they DIDN'T fix it after all (this is from other sources of mine still experiencing the same problem as before the update).


MAM-A/Mitsui is now telling me that it *DOES* have the changes..... maybe I should pick up some MAM-A CD-Rs and try it for myself eh?
Punch Cards -> Paper Tape -> Tape Drive -> 8" Floppy Diskette -> 5 1/4" Floppy Diskette -> 3 1/2" "Flippy" Diskette -> CD-R -> DVD±R -> BD-R

Just tested a 52x 80 min. MAM-E CD-R (European version of MAM-A)... Finally I can burn them at a higher speed than 4x... So there ARE some improvements!

Do the discs still work ok when you burn them at 4x?

[1.09] it does seem to burn my verbatim 16x a bit faster than before.

Yep, they do. Just burned an audio CD at 4x.

I think the person I was talking with has 2 defective drives out of 7 or so... they're looking into getting them replaced.
