CompUSA/QPS $100rebate saga ends in SUCCESS + it gets better

Looking for High Speed 10x+ 700mb CD-RW media

Anybody seen media fitting this description? I have searched around my area and can either come up with 4x 700mb or 10x 650mb media, but I can't find this combo. The reason I want them is that I like to burn VCD's to CD-RW first to make sure I got a successful VCD and then copy to CD-R so as not to waste CD-R's. Hi,
I have some strange problems with the Teac CDW540E CDRW :( , I wondered if someone else has/had the same problems or just mite be able to help me out. :-?

Sony CRX210A1 (48x) isn't recognized as a cdrw

I am having problems, I the above mentioned drive on my computer but none of my software recognizes that it is a cdrw drive and I can't select it as an option to burn cd's? I'm running a Dual athlon xp 1800 system on a tyan s2466N-4m mobo with 768 megs of ram. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

help with lg 8400B

I just got my new pc (p4 2.0GHZ, 40bg hd, 512mb ram) and my lg burner does not burn nearly at 40x. it takes sometime like 5 to 8 min to burn a cd. im using 32x cds, they all work, but take to long to be made. How can i speed the burner up? I have checked the lg canada site but theres nothing execpt specs for my burner.

I was just wondering about this exciting new technology developed by Sanyo which makes it possible to fit 1.4 gb on 1 CD!!!

Has someone seen or purchased this drive? It's the new AOpen CRW4850 which is rated at 48x-12x-50x writing and reading capabilities.

Also, has someone seen a review of this drive?
