Ok, I just got my dvd writer and the software included was nero 7 essentials and I burned a disc and afterwards i flipped it over to lightscribe an image that i had. I am having a problem with writing to CD-RW's. Just noticed this, not sure how long it may have been going on. If I format a CD, I write to it, then after ejecting it and putting it back in, it is closed and I can no longer write to it or erase files. I am using Nero 6 with InCD 4. Any ideas?

I assume that there is a method of getting the titles of the album & the tracks from a music CD into CoverDesigner automatically from the internet Database. However - I am unable to decipher how.
Any hints would be appreciated.

It appears that Nero's Blu-ray HD DVD video plugin is available. It's only $24.99 and will enable autoring and playback in Nero 7.9 and 8. Has anyone tried it yet?

Newbie questions, thanks for bearing with me.
Had Roxio years ago and recently upgraded from Nero 6 to 8 under XP. Found Nero 8 a bit more cluttered, slow to start, and not as easy to find selections; but I will survive.

I removed the start up entries of Nerofiltercheck and NeroBGMonitor. Also disabled checking for updates. I hate extra things running that are unnecessary for me. Poor design perhaps.

As the title says, is Nero EVER going to release a version of InCD that is Vista X64 compliant ?

Seriously, is there ANY real reason why InCD is still NOT Vista X64 compliant ?

I have Nero 7 installed on Vista (running as administrator) and cannot uninstalled it, it was uninstalling fine using Nero Clean but the computer crashed half way through and then when I rebooted the trouble started.

I can't delete the "Nero" or "Common Files/Ahead" directories because I get "access denied please remove protection" on all the dll's. I have tried in safe mode and with a minipe disc from boot with the same errors. I ...

It's not really clear whether or not this is going to make it into a future version of the Nero suite. I really hope not. They have enough junk in there already.
