I burnt a couple of movies using nero vision express and they are wide screen is there a way to burn them so they are not widescreen?

I am using Nero BackItUp ver 1.2.0.20 on a Sony DVD/RW drive model DRU-700A. The media I am using is Memorex DVD+RW with a 2.4X write speed. Backups less than 3.5gb in size are successful. Backups greater than 3.5gb in size fail the verification. For the failures, I checked to make sure that the verifcation was not producing a "false positive". Has anyone any experience with creating a slide show using Vision Express onto a DVD?

Basically I am very disappointed with the results and very surprised by Nero, several trials have produced very poor quality images including colour distortion and pixilation.

Am I doing something wrong or can the program not cope with it?

I just bought a artec burner and it came with nero vision express. I tried burning a movie in avi format letting nero decode it and it worked fine. The dvd came out great and good picture and sound. My question is it took 4 hours total and was wondering if this is about normal or is there a faster way.

I use the latest version of Nero to burn CDs.

Last week my computer started rebooting about halfway through a burn (using a Liteon LTR-52246S). This only happened twice on about ten burns so I really didn't worry about it too much.

Yesterday I bought a Liteon SOHW-812s to replace my CDRW (not related to my burning problems). I lost two DVDs as my computer still rebooted when burning. Not wanting to waste any more ...

I have Nero 6 installed on a fast computer that only has a CD-RW drive. I want to use this computer to create a DVD image (including re-encodes), and then transfer it over the network to a PC with a DVDR drive. From what I see, Nero does not have any DVD features enabled unless it sees a DVDR drive.

I recently got a DVD writer(NEC 3500) so I am new to it all.

Data burning is all I've been practicing with so far, though I have noticed a strange write strategy option discrepancy with Nero when compared to multisession data burning to CD's.

Could someone inform me if its normal for the DAO option to be ghosted out when burning "Mulisession" DVD's?? ...
