Does this driver play DVD's/BluRays...asking because I can see the movie play and I can hear all the sound effects and music/songs but I can't hear the people talking. I'm new to finding out how these things work so please be gentle with your comments.

I use sony VPCEA45FG with Windows 7 Home Premium (64 Bit). It has Optiarc DVD RW AD-7710H Firmware 1.V0 DVD drive.

I Burned the backup of My OS in 3 DVDs. after that I did not write anything Using this DVD drive for more than 1 year.

Yesterday When I tried to write DVD Videos using Nero. It failed.

I tried using Imageburn. It showed the following I/O Error.
