News of Sonic Solutions and Roxio

Tried to create a vcd but program shut down telling me something about MFC42.dll error? MPEG file was not the problem as I was able to create a vcd on my other pc running WinME.

Please help. Tried the Roxio website but no help. Lots of people having the same problem with VCD Creator and XP.

I want to make bootable win98 CD from bootable diskette. I start NEW-BOOTABLE CD and then I gave boot from partition A: but no files appears. How can I make bootable CD??? :(

Recordnow came with my Sony DRU-500a and I upgraded it to DX. What is the difference, if any, between DX and MAX? I want to know if it is worth upgrading to MAX.

i have ECDC and Nero on my box with XP.
i have both DirectCD & INCD installed.
ECDC keeps hanging.
is this the reason?
are ECDC and Nero mutually exclusive? or just DirectCD and InCD?
will Nero work with DirectCD?

I intalled this version and when i burn data it burns but when i try to burn VCD SVCD or DVD with menus or without menus it gives me this msg:

This was mentioned as a side-topic in the Saturday Night Special thread, but probably deserves its own thread. Has anyone had any success in burning files with names greater than 64 characters using WinOnCD? I guess this question really amounts to: does WinOnCD support Romeo?

I have a lite on LTR 48125w burner. I have installed Easy cd creator 5.0 platium. I upgraded it to 5.3.2 using the update from Roxio site. But when I tried to record, I get the message "there is no cdr". I tried to use driveup 5.3.2a from the roxio site but when I click on the application I get the message "No roxio installation found".
