i tried to installed but it crashed due cd4_xp.sys driver

i have nero 6 installed.

Has sb had the same problem?

Im trying to format some cdr using direct cd from ezcd 5 plat. ive never had a problem b4 but now when trying to format i get this message:-


''driver cannot lock memory.Drive reported an unknown error(0x40000040)

You will not be able to read and write to the cd through drive letter access''

Can I use DirectCD as a packet writing software for DVDR/Ws or is it just for CDR/Ws ???

Hi guys, I'm new here and have a fairly simple question: Does the burning software have any impact on simply the quality of the burn?

I have an NEC 2500A with Maxell (MXL RG02) DVD-R media. Win XP. I have the option of burning 200 gigs of data either by Nero Express 5.5.x or Roxio 6.2.x. Not sure which to use for the long haul, as they both turned out a readable disc... (is Nero ...

does anyone know if there has been any updates/patches so that ezcd5 and windows media player 9 can run in harmony as when i installed wmp9 about 6 months ago there was many conflicts between the 2 products?

is there anyway of adding chapters to vcds using EZCD PLAT5.......ive gone over many of the features using plat5 but cant find a way to do this?..........i know v6 can but i have posted another problem as to why i do not want to use that version :(

just upgraded form Plat 5 to v6 because dvd builder has the ability to make chapters where as plat 5 doesnt(well i could never make chapters with it anyway).........although i can now make chapters i find that all my previously encoded with TMPGEnc films TO MPG now have to RE-ENCODED......b4 burning :(

is this right and why does a newer product have to encode b4 burning where ...

I just got a Plextor PX-708A DVD burner. It came bundled with:

-Roxio Easy CD and DVD Creator 6
-PhotoSuite 5 SE
-Roxio DVDMax Player
-Dantz Retrospect backup and restore solution

I'm brand new at all of this but, initially, I want to transfer some analog VHS and 8mm tapes to DVD and then go from there (not sure where but I'd like to explore about everything the Plextor and the software will let me ...

I got this Roxio with my NEC2500 and I dont like it. I was going to attempt to backup a DVD with it but havent got a clue to how this program work.

I am used to my Nero5.5 which will not work with this burner....

this is my 1st dvd burner.
