What does the front faceplate look like? Just look through the reviews on 48x16x48 CD-RW drives and maybe you'll find a drive that looks just like yours.
It's an Optorite CW4802. I'm actually using Nero 184.108.40.206b on it, which writes perfectly. Here's the a picture of the drive:
I really like the looks of the front versus the plain Jane Lite-On's, but it's what's inside that really counts!
