If I won the lottery, I'd be all over this... I'd drive this sucker to work. Oh wait.. if I won the lottery I wouldn't work. :D

Great idea to whoever painted it. They could probably sell a few at some nice profits to some die-hard Transformers fans out there... like Ian. :D

It's nicely done for sure, and a great idea to make some money as well :)

Personally though, I still much prefer the original Optimus Prime.

I wonder how much money was really made. The winning bid was $55,200, which seems like a lot until you check out the going prices of big rigs these days. I think the odometer was around 55,000 miles too, which would make that Peterbuilt, despite its relative age, barely broken in.

If everything is in good shape mechanically, I'd daresay the winner got a bargain.
