Optorite DD0405 140E Firmware Wanted

My drive came with 140E firmware, I flashed it with 150E. I have some Princo 2x DVD-RW media which wont work on the Optorite but will work on a Pioneer (107 I think) (i.e so the media is OK). I suspect firmware (the media is on the supported media list) and would like to try the 140E firmware but cannot find a download anywhere.

Anyone else having problems with this media? The symptom appears to be, in Nero Disc Info, the media appears as DVD-R. On the Pioneer, it appears as DVD-RW and works fine. In fact on the Optorite, I can write to the media but nothing can read it including itself and the Pioneer and I cannot erase it with any drive either (i.e coaster time).

They just have 150E and a link to RPC1-150E (which I also tried but has the same problem). I'll try their forum.

140E was never available for download. It would need to come from a drive which came with it installed, but I don't know if that's even possible.

Backing up Optorite firmware might be possible using the utility in the recovery package: http://forum.rpc1.org/viewtopic.php?t=25368

Optorite sent me the 140E firmware to try, it still doesn't work with these discs. I sent them the media id, hopefully they'll figure something out. They seemed to be quite willing to solve it.

Since 140E for DD0405 doesn't seem to be available anywhere, where is the best place to upload it for someone who is looking for it?
