Pacific Digital or Micro Advantage?

Postby 4zkxa on Thu Jun 26, 2003 5:05 pm

Hi guys, I have a chance to get either a Pacific Digital 52x24x52x or a Micro Advantage 52x24x52x. They are both at the same price, and I think they are both the same drive, BTC rebagged.

So I think the deciding factor would be company reputation and rebate fullfillment (same amount). So what do you guys think:

1. Which company is better at handle warranty and replacement, Pacific Digital or Micro Advantage?

2. Whose rebate is better, Office Max or Pacific Digital?

Thanks for your help.

Hmm, you really want a BTC drive? I would re-think purchasing one, but ultimately the choice is yours.

I never purchased a Pacific Digital or Micro Advantage drive, but so far, OfficeMax is 1 for 1 in fulfilling a rebate with me. So, I would trust them over Pacific Digital until I have reason to believe otherwise.

Pacific Digital is not quite all together on their rebates a few months ago they had a rebate and forgot to activate the mailing address so people had to resumit their rebates once Pacific Digital activated the address.
