pioneer 105 help

i just got some princo 4x media and i used nero for some backup but it takes like 30 mins to complete a whole dvd. thats the same amount of time it takes to burn a full dvd at 2x with the same burner. i have the firmware 1.33. any info would be nice. =)

i have firmware 1.33 which is better than 1.30 right? anyways i tried to install 1.30 and it wouldnt let me do it cuz of an error while installing.

What error are you getting?
IIRC, you have to unpack the hacked zip file to a folder, and run upgrade.bat /f where /f means force the flash.

i did click on the upgrade exe. it was installing and its said " an error occured while installing". i was wondering if my comp is fast enought. its a 600mhz.

To reflash the drive, start off by downgrading to version 0.58...go get it. It has the upgrade files that you can use to force the flash. Always make sure that the drive does not have a disc in it. The command is shown as below, and MUST be run under a command prompt.

C:\whatever\the\folder\names\are upgdvd.exe /F

*note that the /F is a capital letter. Not sure if that makes a diff, but it's worked for me. :-?
