Is it LiteOn-OEM? I just wonder about 40x CD-R, LiteOn uses mostly 48x
WD: WD6400AAKS, WD10EALS, WD20EARS, WD10EALS

Yeah, it also has LabelFlash which Lite-On doesn't support. If I had to guess I'd say that its a Pioneer design, manufactured by a company like ASUS and it uses a Mediatek chipset.
