Pioneer DVR-220 or DVR-S20?

Postby Scour on Mon Jul 01, 2013 6:21 am

Hi!

Anyone knows whether it´s an "original" Pioneer or rebadged Liteon?

Both have LF, does it mean it´s maybe a SONY NEC Optiarc?

Good question. The top of the drive doesn't look like a Lite-On or Optiarc drive. Not ASUS either.

If I had to fathom a guess, I'd say that its an original design using a Mediatek chipset.

Could be, Thanks :)

Still wondering about the 40x CD-speed, I think all others have 48x, even all chipsets
