Pioneer DVR-A06

OK I'm surprised no one has started a thread on the Pioneer DVR-A06 yet. What are your thoughts? Personally, I think its a little too expensive at $329 and other than the addition of DVD+R/RW writing speeds, the specs aren't much better than the DVR-A05. Thoughts?

It's great to see Pioneer introduce its first Multi-Format DVD-R/RW, DVD+R/RW DVD burner. Pioneer has always been excellent in DVD technology--it sounds like the new Pioneer DVR-A06 will be an excellent solution for people looking to buy a Multi-Format DVD burner.

DVD RW speeds aren't too impressive given the fact that the 510A will most likely have 4X^4 with a firmware update and is 4X^3 out of the box. CDR/RW speeds aren't too fast either.

I agree with Ian, overpriced and not competitive with some of the other burners that are hitting the market.
