PlexCombo PX-320A

In the review of the PlexCombo PX-320A drive, here at CDR Labs, Ian states that the drive has difficulty recognising DVD+RW media. On another website, CDRW Central, I have read that this drive has no difficulty reading DVD+RW media and there is an illustration of Nero InfoTools showing that it supports the reading of both DVD+R and DVD+RW media. This review was also written by "Ian". (Both review samples have firmware revision 1.01).
Plextor Europe have not been very helpful in responding to this question.
I would like to be able to copy "on-the-fly" from this Plexcombo drive onto the Plextor PX-504A, using DVD+R media.
Anyone know if this is possible?

Different Ian. Just like Bob Smith and Bob Jones.

InfoTool isn't always 100% accurate. At the same time, you might have a drive that says it can't read DVD+R media and it actually can.

Unfortunately, I can't answer your question about the DVD+R media. Hopefully someone else can tell you.

Exactly, InfoTool is a GUIDE, but not a definitive authority on the capabilities of a drive.

That's what TESTING is for :)
