i wonder q-check would produce same scans from v2.14~v2.16....after plextor getting tons's of 712a rmas, plextor might tweaked to produce less pi errors....i hope i am just worry about it too much ;)

i just scaned dvd disks previously scaned & it seems like there wasn't much of difference between 2.15 & 2.16

seems like plextor is back on tract to claim its "king of quality" status

I had 2.14 on there before, and 2.16 looks different scan-wise, using High Accuracy mode, doesn't look too much different, but different none-the-less. The scan (on this disc) looks slightly worse.

I will have to look into this...
Punch Cards -> Paper Tape -> Tape Drive -> 8" Floppy Diskette -> 5 1/4" Floppy Diskette -> 3 1/2" "Flippy" Diskette -> CD-R -> DVD±R -> BD-R

Ian has posted on the home page that the european Plextor site has released v2.15... Is this suposed to be v2.16 or are the versions mismatched?

What's up with the burst test? Haven't had much time to play with it, but it SAYS it can report POE errors! :o
