PLEXTOR PX-716 TRAY.

Has anybody any ideas please. Just installed the new plextor 716
i have noticed if you leave the drive tray open accidently and shut the pc off
it does not close , it stays fully out. When i start the pc up again
it still stays out until i push or use the button to close it.
All my other drives close there trays automatically when shutting down the pc
or restarting. I wonder if there is a fault or does this happen with some drives. I might be worrying for noThing .
Any ideas,

in case you didn't notice or haven't been using computers too long, every drive does that

where if you leave the tray open and hit shutdown, it'll stay open

but if you restart they close

but that isn't true for all drives, my msi sata combo drive doesn't close if i hit restart it stays out

thanks for you reply ,
it,s when you start up your pc i expected the disc tray to close
automatically when windows reads the drive ,the plextor does not close. my other drives
nec , sony , samsung, all close on start up. maybe it,s the way plextor built their drive, its likely i am fussing over nothing.

yes as long as you then turn on your computer they will close, but if you leave your computer off, they will stay open
