Nice. I was supposed to get mine from Plextor last week. Instead they sent me another one of those damn NAS devices.

I almost ordered one but I think I'm going to wait for the PX-755SA...

Isn't there supposed to be a 760SA?

To my knowledge, the 760SA hasn't been announced.

The PX-755SA replaces the PX-716SA.

If I remember right, the 760SA was announced along side with the 760A. With all the delays though, I'm not sure if its going to happen.

Edit: the 760SA exists, at least in Japan

The 755 is a limited 760 (no 18X).
The 755 was created only... because the 760 was not in time.

It will be interesting to see if later versions of the 755 have that extra wiring.

There are already some 755 drives without the wiring. I'm curious as to whether or not my TLA #0002 755SA has those soldered leads, but not enough to open it.
